By creating an account or using KrinoDoc ("the Service"), operated by Krinologic Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including free-tier and paid subscribers.
KrinoDoc is a cloud-based document intelligence platform. You upload financial documents — invoices, credit notes, receipts, purchase orders, bank statements, and delivery notes — (PDF, PNG, JPG, TIFF, WebP) and the Service uses AI-powered extraction to convert them into structured, machine-readable data. The Service includes:
The Service is provided as a SaaS platform. We do not offer on-premises deployment.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that show signs of compromise or abuse.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your lawful business purposes. This licence does not include the right to:
You agree not to:
Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without prior notice.
By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Uploaded documents are processed using AI-powered extraction hosted entirely within the European Union (Ireland). Extracted data is returned to our platform for your review. Your document data does not leave the European Union during processing.
Our AI provider is contractually bound to the following data handling commitments:
Your account data, uploaded documents, and extracted results are stored in EU data centres (Stockholm). All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Strict access controls ensure that you can only access your own data. Full details are available in our Privacy Policy.
You must grant explicit consent for data processing before uploading any documents. This consent is recorded with a timestamp and your IP address. You may withdraw consent at any time through your account settings, which will prevent further document processing but will not affect data already processed.
You retain all rights, title, and interest in the documents you upload and the structured data extracted from them. We claim no ownership over your content.
By uploading documents, you grant us a limited licence to process, store, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This licence terminates when you delete your content or your account.
The Service itself — including its design, source code, algorithms, user interface, branding, and documentation — is and remains our intellectual property, protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
We offer a free tier with limited monthly processing credits. Free-tier usage is subject to the same Terms. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free tier at any time.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are displayed excluding VAT/tax unless otherwise stated. You authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial billing periods. Unused processing credits do not carry over between billing periods and are non-refundable.
We may adjust pricing with 30 days' notice via email. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel before it takes effect.
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including third-party service outages, internet connectivity issues, or force majeure events.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
AI extraction is not infallible. Extracted data may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating all extracted data before relying on it for financial, legal, tax, compliance, or any other business purpose. The Service is a productivity tool — it does not replace professional judgement.
We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements, that results will be accurate or complete, or that the Service will be free from errors or security vulnerabilities.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Krinologic Ltd and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from:
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Krinologic Ltd from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
You may close your account at any time through Settings or by contacting [email protected]. Upon closure, we will delete your uploaded documents and extracted data within 30 days, unless retention is required by law.
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without prior notice if you:
Upon termination, your licence to use the Service ceases immediately. You may export your data before termination or within 30 days after, by contacting [email protected]. After 30 days, all your data will be permanently deleted. The sections on Your Content, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you at least 14 days in advance by email or through an in-app notification. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict of law principles. The courts of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service.
Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation for a period of 30 days.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory provisions of EU or member state law, including but not limited to the GDPR.
